Agadir all-inclusive hotels

Agadir is Morocco's all-inclusive heartland — the Founty resort zone is built for unpack-once, everything-sorted sun weeks. Here's what the package really covers, what it costs in 2026, who it suits, and how to get from the airport to your resort.

If you've booked Agadir, there's a good chance it's for an all-inclusive week — and that's no accident. Agadir is Morocco's package-holiday capital, with a large share of its hotels built specifically for sun, pool and buffet stays where everything's in the price. Most of them sit in the Founty zone at the south of the bay, just back from a quieter stretch of beach. Here's what you're actually buying, what it costs, and whether it's the right call for your trip.

Why Agadir is an all-inclusive hub

Agadir built its tourism around reliable sun, a long sandy bay and direct charter flights from northern Europe — the exact recipe for the all-inclusive resort model. The result is a dense cluster of big 4- and 5-star resorts, mostly in Founty, designed for travellers who want to land, unpack once and not think about logistics. Competition keeps prices keen by Mediterranean standards, which is a big part of why Agadir undercuts a lot of European resort destinations for a similar week.

What all-inclusive actually covers

The headline is full board plus drinks, but the detail varies resort to resort, and that detail is where holidays are made or soured. Here's the typical split:

Usually included

Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; local-brand drinks through the day; the pools; most daytime activities and evening entertainment; sun loungers and basic kit.

Often extra

Branded or imported drinks; à la carte restaurants (sometimes one free booking, then paid); the spa; excursions; motorised water sports; and premium room categories or sea views.

Always read the board basis and the drinks policy on the specific resort — "all-inclusive" is not a fixed standard, and the gap between a basic package and a premium one is mostly drinks and restaurant choice.

Local tip Even on all-inclusive, walk out for at least one dinner on the promenade or in town. Agadir's grilled fish and tagines are a different world from a resort buffet, and it's the easiest reminder you're in Morocco, not a generic sun resort.

Who it suits

All-inclusive in Agadir is at its best for families who want meals and pools handled without daily decisions, couples after a do-nothing sun week, and anyone who likes a fixed budget with no surprises. It's a weaker fit if you want to eat across the city, explore the Souss valley or Taroudant, or surf up the coast — for that, a room-only beach or marina hotel keeps you freer to roam. Getting from the airport to your resort

The Founty resorts are about 22 km from Al Massira — a 25–40 minute drive, with no train and no useful bus. Many package bookings bundle a coach transfer, which is fine but can mean a slow run with multiple hotel stops. If yours doesn't include one, or you'd rather go straight to the door, a fixed-price private transfer drops you at the resort in one hop. Know your resort's name and zone (Founty, the south bay) so the driver heads to the right end of the strip. See the airport to Agadir route for current transfer and taxi prices.

Frequently asked questions

Is Agadir good for all-inclusive holidays?
Yes — Agadir is Morocco's all-inclusive and package-holiday capital. A large share of its hotels, especially in the Founty zone at the south of the bay, are big resorts built for exactly this: pools, buffets, bars and evening entertainment, all in the price. It's one of the easiest places in Morocco to book a sun-and-pool week where everything is sorted.
How much does all-inclusive in Agadir cost?
Roughly €60–110 per person per night depending on the resort's star rating and the season, checked June 2026. The lower end gets you a solid 4-star with buffet dining; the upper end is a higher-end resort with more restaurants and better drinks. Prices peak in school holidays and over Christmas/New Year and ease in the shoulder months.
What does all-inclusive usually cover in Agadir?
Typically full board (buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner), local-brand drinks through the day, the pools and most daytime activities and entertainment. What varies is drinks quality (local vs branded/imported), à la carte restaurants (often a paid extra or limited), and spa, excursions and motorised water sports (usually not included). Always check the board basis and the drinks policy on the specific resort before booking.
Who is all-inclusive in Agadir best for?
Families who want meals and pools handled without daily decisions, couples after a do-nothing sun week, and anyone who likes a fixed budget with no surprises. It's less suited to travellers who want to eat out across the city, explore the Souss or surf up the coast — for those, a room-only beach hotel leaves you freer.
